The Seed We Nurture reflects on the quiet act of caring for what we wish to see grow. Held gently in the woman’s hands, the seed becomes a symbol of possibility — of the dreams we carry, the relationships we nurture, and the parts of ourselves that need time, patience and care to unfold.
At the same time, the seed speaks of our connection to the earth and our responsibility towards it. Its roots remind us that growth is never separate from what sustains us. Recycled jute, Aguayo textile and hand embroidery are woven into the painting alongside acrylic, bringing material, memory and tradition into the work.
